Canon Porsche runs at Goodwood
Once again we were pleased to be invited to the annual Goodwood press day. As always the Earl of March looked after us all extremely well and gave us the opportunity to put the Porsche through its paces on three runs. Accompanied by Amanda Stretton, who was delivered by military helicopter, Lord March filled us in on the theme for this year as well as giving us a taste of who we will be running with.
This year we plan to attend the Festival with the Leyton House CG901B. Although not immediately obvious this car fits this years theme of "True Grit - Epic Feats of Endurance" in that both drivers, Gugelmin and Capelli reportedly suffered extreme discomfort and severe cramps in the confined cockpit.
