Prep Work Begins For Goodwood '09

It's that time of year again, across the world teams like ourselves are busy readying cars that have sat dormant, sometimes for years. June is always a pretty exciting month and there is a real buzz in the workshop.

Although we fire our cars up on a regular basis, preparing to run one in anger is a lengthy process. All fluids are changed including the hydroscopic brake and clutch fluid, every nut and bolt is spanner checked and the set-up verified.

Leyton House

Kris verifies the spare electronics functions correctly.

For this years' Festival of Speed we are taking the Leyton House CG901B, the first public outing for this car in 19 years. There has been a lot of excitement surrounding the 901, an article appearing in the Chronicle and Echo and another due to appear in the Times on Saturday.

As usual Gary Ward will be behind the wheel demonstrating alongside cars such as Classic Team Lotus Type 97T, the model which spawned our Type 98T and also Ayrton Senna's McLaren Honda MP4-4 which is to be demonstrated by Bruno Senna and Lewis Hamilton.
